Director of Program Planning & Evaluation
Mat-Su Health Foundation in Wasilla, AK seeks a full-time Director of Program Planning & Evaluation to guide the Foundation's program strategy and assess the impact of its philanthropic work. The Director leads strategic program planning processes to define goals, benchmarks, models and protocols that allow the Foundation to learn from its work and refine its strategic grantmaking. Reporting to the Executive Director, the Director represents the Foundation within the strategic planning and evaluation field and handles tasks related to research, program planning, and evaluation, while performing duties in accordance with the policies and procedures of Mat-Su Health Foundation and regulatory agency standards. Annual salary range is $60K to $75K with benefits depending on experience.
Applicants must possess: Masters of Public Health or equivalent degree in relevant field from an accredited college; minimum four years of relevant work experience; knowledge of analysis and research, evaluation, performance management, and reporting techniques required; experience preparing and reviewing evaluation RFPs, selecting, and overseeing external consultants beneficial; ability to represent the Foundation and its mission with integrity and passion, while remaining objective in role.

2011 Scholarships
The Mat-Su Health Foundation (MSHF) recently awarded 34 scholarships totaling $99,850.00 to residents of the Mat-Su Borough pursuing a health related career. Funds were awarded based upon the merit of the applicants meeting the MSHF eligibility criteria, which included clarity of health care career goals and the value of those goals to the health care community; demonstrated interest in the healthcare field through job experience, volunteer efforts, internships or related course offerings; and past academic performance.
