FOUNDATION SEEKS VOLUNTEERS FOR
HEALTH-RELATED COMMUNITY ADVISORY BOARDS
The Mat-Su Health Foundation is looking for residents of
the Sutton, Chickaloon, Talkeetna, Willow, Palmer and
Wasilla areas to join its Community Advisory
Committees.
These committees provide general feedback and advice
on health issues the Foundation should be addressing.
All Mat-Su valley residents are invited.
The advisory boards will hold their first meetings in the next few weeks, and anyone interested in serving should come to the first meeting.
The Mat-Su Health Foundation was established in 2005 to improve the quality of health among Matanuska-Susitna Borough residents. The Foundation provides grants to non-profit organizations, supports targeted-health initiatives and offers annual scholarships for local residents seeking careers in various health fields.
The Mat-Su Health Foundation only supports organizations based in or providing services to the people of the Mat-Su Borough of Alaska.
Advisory Committee meetings will be adhoc meetings
expected to meet quarterly as needed. For more
information, call 861-6352 or email us.
