Our overall goal is to continue to tackle chronic, health-based problems in the Borough through the following:

• Fund development of a new residential detox facility

• Promote healthy family activities

• Health education, with special emphasis on the obesity
  and drug problems in the Mat-Su Borough

• Increase health care education scholarships and grant
  funding

• Support area nursing education through Partners in Nursing
